The Dirt I Occupy

This blog is about the patches of dirt that I adopted last year. The story begins with the decision that I would change the landscaping in our yard. My goal is to model sustainable gardening through research and practice. The project may take years but I’m excited to be started in the process. The initial idea was that the landscape would require less human attention as it approached the street. The design will evolve from there.
